1. Will my school’s information system work with Looker Studio?

Yes. All information systems are designed to input and extract data.

2. Will our school need to share access to our information system with Schooldash?

Yes. Schools will need to create a user account for Schooldash to extract data every two weeks and add it to the school’s dashboard in Looker Studio.

3. Will we be notified when an update to our dashboard is made?

Yes. The main contact for your school will get an email.

4. Can our school use different demographics in our dashboard than are in the sample dashboard?

Yes. Any demographic data stored inside of the school’s information system can be used instead or in combination.

5. Can our school ask for more reports to be created for other data that the school has?

Yes. Schooldash is willing to create new reports using different data and is willing to provide updates.

6. Will there be an additional fee for the setup?

No. The setup will not have an additional fee.

7. Will Schooldash enter data into our student information system for us?

No. Schools are in charge of collecting data and entering it into their systems. In the sample dashboard there is a report dedicated to displaying what information is currently missing. Schools may choose what student data the report will track.

8. Will Schooldash train our employees to use the dashboard?

No. Schooldash’s Data Manager will be available to provide email support during business hours. Almost every report inside of the dashboard will have instructions on how to use the report.

9. How does our school access the dashboard?

When the dashboard is set up for your school a link to the dashboard will be shared.

10. How do Districts and Schools use Schooldash?

Districts can review the “District Dashboard” to review a summary of the schools in the district. The district will also be given links to individual school site dashboards for a more in depth review option.

Teachers can review the dashboard by focusing on the “Students To Support” reports. The teachers can filter by their classes and create plans to support their students.

Office staff can review the trends and summary reports to determine what teachers and classes need overall support.

Office staff can use the “Utilities” reports to manage the school's information system and support other clerical activities.
